ADIPURUSH

"Adipurush" is an Indian epic action film directed by Om Raut. The movie is based on the Hindu epic "Ramayana" and is produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series. The film stars Prabhas in the lead role of Lord Rama and Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist, Lankesh (Ravana).

 The film aims to retell the epic tale of Lord Rama's battle against Ravana with modern technology and visual effects. It was expected to be a visual spectacle with a combination of action, drama, and mythology.

ADIPURUSH has been the  biggest disaster in box office. 

For each and every living being RAMAYANA plays an important role in their life. 

Direction of the movie: In the theme song of the movie lyrics like jai shri ram and jai Hanuman , no clue why the name of Protagonists were changed from Ram, Sita and Hanuman to Raghav, janaki and Bajrang respectively, it felts like the biggest and first Red flag. Turns out whole movie is filled with disappointment after disappointment. Many crucial parts have been skipped, and unfortunately the character establishment of Ram is no exception. Most people know the story, but there should be some sort of detailing for the film language, and there is absolute nuisance here. Not only the presentation of the characters, the purpose was portrayed like it was pointless, the nasty visuals appeal strips everything apart. The flow is very random, filled with crashing bore scenes that are highly incoherent. Intolerable screenplay that make us cry out for three long hours, concentrates on action set pieces, rather than adding any value and sense to the story. No words to express the crappy direction of Om Raut, a film of this huge scale is worthless to watch even for free of cost due to zero conviction with limitless horribly created green screen sequence. Usually the protagonist and Antagonist get different color palettes and emotions etc. Here Ravana is in different world altogether, he is depicted like a marvel inspired villain or you can say a advance failed experiment. On the other hand, Ram's world is like a poorly made jungle book inspired movie. There is no drama or impactful emotions also the motivational and mass moments are flat. The rich culture and glory were not depicted at all as they were structed by poverty. 

Performance: Prabhas looks like a smooth doll, no scope for him to perform, stoned faced , no emotions and very inactive on screen. Kriti sanon gets very little space to act, she looks pretty but expressionless throughout. Saif ali khan never fits in the shoe, his makeover as Ravana is horrible , such a stylish and vicious look with zero credibility factor. Even the physical feature of the characters are at worst. Meghnath ( vatsal seth) have tattoos. all over the body showing the worst case scenerios of the RAMAYAN. 

Technicalities: The only person who has worked efficiently in the team is the music director. the songs are pretty good in which the 'Jai shri Ram' track stands out and it is a great vibe material. Powerful background scores as well, tries to elevate the situation as much as possible. Crappy visuals with the worst cinematography even everything is perform on the green mat. Huge lag prevail in the edited footage, super slow action portions by worsening the already weak stunts. Truly terribly VFX in every aspects, the film look liked a age old video game with a comic style approach. The director is at fault, the guy can't even shoot a lotus flower for real and solely depends on the graphics. There were upto the decent average 3D experience with good depth, although the pop-outs are less. 

Verdict: Even the people who know the epic would wonder what is going on as the storytelling is extremely weak. The technological development and advancement were taken for granted and the presentation is of terrible quality.
