1. Chandrayaan-2: Chandrayaan-2 was India's second lunar exploration mission, launched in July 2019. The project aimed to place a lander (Vikram) and a rover (Pragyan) on the Moon's surface. Although the lander experienced a hard landing and communication was lost, the mission was still considered a significant achievement as the orbiter continued to function and collect valuable data.
2. Mangalyaan (Mars Orbiter Mission): Mangalyaan, launched in November 2013, was India's first interplanetary mission. It successfully placed the Mars Orbiter spacecraft into Mars orbit in September 2014, making India the first Asian country to reach Mars.
